It seems like it's been forever, but I finally finished up the newest designs and they should be up in the Etsy Luxe shop early next week. Here's a sneak peek of a few of them.
Treasury themed around Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with the movie coming out soon. My Hermione bracelet is featured in the bottom left corner. The colors of Gryffindor- scarlet and gold- are represented by garnet and citrine on a sterling silver base.
Stunning aquamarine themed treasury featuring my Deep Pool earrings. What fantastic company to keep! Gorgeous jewelry from a few of my favorite sellers. Dive in!
Gorgeous island paradise treasury featuring my Deep Pool earrings. Caribbean blue chalcedony faceted heart briolettes wire wrapped with oxidized sterling silver wire hanging on oxidized sterling silver elongated ear wires. Lovely!
It takes forever for a piece to go from an inkling in my mind to a listing on Etsy. The majority of the time it takes to get it listed goes towards getting the photos right. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts to get a few usable shots. Then the hard part starts- finding a way to describe it that will do it justice. My thesaurus has gotten a serious workout since I started selling on Etsy.
For those of you who have read my blip of a bio, you'll recall that I wandered onto Etsy through the sweet work of Jill at ajillionpieces. Seems she's moved her operation onto her own site, which I finally got around to spending more time on today. I adore her work. Yummy cupcakes made from clay, snowcones, mochi, cheeseburgers....too many things to list. You just have to see for yourself. Click on any of the photos below to head to her site. Trust me, you'll have to restrain yourself from buying dozens of the cute creations. LOVE them!
I'm beginning to list new items available for purchase directly through the website. Still trying to find a layout that I like, and that works for me. It may take a few days to get it right. Hang in there. Lots of exclusive designs.
Finally getting around to showing of my Accredited Jewelry Professional diploma from GIA (Gemological Institute of America).
I just completed the Pearls course, and should receive my certificate in a few weeks. I'm planning to head to NYC in October for the lab portion of the course so that I can get the Graduate Pearls diploma. YAY!
Put up some photos on Foliomo. You can take a look here:
A little bit about me. I'm an Army brat that's finally somewhat settled after a childhood spent....everywhere. We just moved to Upstate South Carolina, and I've got to say, I love it here!
