The beautiful and unusual gemstones used in this bracelet work wonderfully together. Larimar is a rare variety of pectolite only found in the Dominican Republic, and its blue color varies in intensity from brilliant aqua to pale watery blue. Andalusite of the clear variety was first found in Andalusia, Spain. Faceted andalusite stones give a play of red, green, and yellow colors that resembles a muted form of iridescence, although the colors are actually the result of unusually strong pleochroism. Scapolite was originally discovered in 1913 in the Mogok Stone Tract in upper Burma (Myanmar). There, white, pink, yellowish or violet stones of high quality are found. Scapolite is found in many areas of the world, unfortunately it is only found sparsely and in small pockets, making it very rare.
The bracelet measures 8 inches long, and is intended to fit closely to the wrist. A 1/2 inch length of 4mm sterling silver rolo chain gives it a bit of flexibility, as the bracelet can be lengthened by added matching chain to the other side. Please keep in mind that there is some length needed to navigate the clasp into closing. For the best fit, please send along the wrist measurement when ordering.
